The Audacious Molly Bruno by Marie Armenia

The Audacious Molly Bruno by Marie Armenia is the story of a real-life woman of prayer that the movie, War Room, was based on. The forward is written by War Room Director  Stephen Kendrick and he shares some background information on how he came to know this prayer warrior who was the basis for Miss Clara in the movie.

The Audacious Molly Bruno is full of a prayer warrior's guidance for both praying and living the Christian life. Written by Molly Bruno's daughter, Armenia shares true-life stories of growing up under the watchful guidance and love of a true prayer warrior. Armenia shares a wealth of life lessons about witnessing, reading the Bible, being a wife, mom and daughter, everyday living and how to approach dying, among other lessons. This warm book is full of both stories and advice that could help you be a better prayer warrior. The back of the book contains an appendix that sums up all of the life lessons from Molly that are shared in the book. As a bonus, I was excited to find a real Italian meatball recipe in the back of the book as well that was a favorite in the Armenia family.

I would encourage anyone to read The Audacious Molly Bruno. This book had me giggling at times and shedding a few tears at other times.  However, all the way through the book I was soaking up the wisdom and guidance that Armenia shared. It seems it was a real pleasure to know Molly Bruno. While I did not have the pleasure of meeting her in real life, after reading this book, I  felt like I "met" someone who changed my life for the better. If you get a copy of The Audacious Molly Bruno, you can too.

I received this book from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review.
