  Our Friendly Farmhouse by Melissa Fergusson is a tale of one family's dreams that came true. It is aimed at children ages four to eight.  I like that the author wrote this book alongside her children and gives them credit for helping write the book. Our Friendly Farmhouse is a book that is beautifully illustrated by Gretchen Ellen Powers. I love the pastel pictures that show all the fun things that could be going on at the farm. I also like that this book inspired families to either make their own hopes and dreams or reflect on hopes and dreams that came true. In the back of the book, the author shares photos and briefly tells how this is a real dream that came true for her family.    I received a copy of this book from Tommy Nelson.   Here's To Your Dreams! by Dave Hollis is a fun rhyming book that encourages children to dream and to learn that they can problem-solve.  When I requested this book, Here's to Your Dreams! I recognized the name as an author but otherwise I wasn't real familiar with Dave Hollis or his daughter, Noah. I have since learned that the author has passed away. I hope this book is a special keepsake for daughter Noah.  I like the bright illustrations in Here's To Your Dreams! From the photo on the dust jacket, I thought the artist did a good job of illustrating this father daughter duo. I also like the rhyming verse. I like that it encourages children to dream, to imagine, to learn to solve problems on their own. I like that it features a dad having tea with his daughter and dreaming together. I often remember my dreams and I wonder what they mean. Maybe you do too? The Complete Guide to Dream Interpretation by Marsha Trimble Dunstan is a great tool for the Christian to use to interpret dreams. The Complete Guide to Dream Interpretation is part the author explaining how to interpret your dreams and part dreamer's dictionary to explain what common dream symbols mean. Dunstan explains that she has been studying and teaching others about dreams and interpretations for nearly two decades. She says that she sees her book as a tool that needs to be used correctly by  the reader through discernment, faith and a good relationship with the Holy Spirit. She shares common dream questions she has answered over the years, the steps to interpreting dreams and some example of types of dreams and their interpretations. Tzivia Gover writes an interesting interactive book, The Mindful Way to a Good Night's Sleep , that can help readers sleep better and discover what their dreams are trying to say. The Mindful Way to a Good Night's Sleep is divided into three sections: A Good Night's Sleep, Sweet Dreams, and Good Morning. This book has some great quotes on dreamy looking pages, advice on your sleep environment and sleeping, journaling space with some good questions to make you think, great meditation exercises that are truly relaxing, and advice on starting your day off in such a way to have your best day possible.
