      My son is 23 now but I sure remember the excitement of when I was expecting him. I Dream for You by Kate Wood is a well written Christian children's book that captures the wonder and excitement of having a little one. The prose in this book is nicely written in rhyme. The words go together nicely without sounding forced or hokey. It definitely took me back to the days when I was expecting my son and all the hopes and dreams I had for him as both a baby and a child.  This book is definitely a Christian book as it mentions God. As the cover says, Imagining God's love and plants for your life" is the main subject matter. There are also Bible verses on a full page at the back of the book to pray for your child.  The illustrations are bright and nicely done. Great and Small Prayers for Babies by Pamela Kennedy is such a cute little book to read to little ones or for toddlers to look at and enjoy themselves. There are adorable pictures of animal pairs--a larger animal with a baby animal behind the flap. The prayers are short, simple and easy for little ones to understand. The focus on gratitude for the simple and little things in life and encourage little ones to look to God as the source of all good gifts.  The chunky board book pages are easy for little ones to hold on to. This book is well made and I think it would last well through toddlerhood. Great and Small Prayers for Babies is recommended for ages 1 to 3 years old but I would read it to my baby earlier. The illustrations are just so soft and sweet. This book would make a cute baby gift too. I received this book from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The Great and Small Bible is truly a gorgeous little keepsake for Babies. It would make a precious Baby gift for any little one. The Great and Small Bible has several pages of inserts where you can write little notes for your baby that include: Baby's date of arrival and how you found out you were expecting, Baby's measurements and features; family tree information, your baby's favorite things; hopes, prayer and a special verse for your baby; and some of your baby's firsts. The illustrations are of various baby zoo animals and are so sweet. The Bible measures about about 6 1/2 inches by 4 /2 inches. It also contains the words of Christ in red and includes a presentation page in the front. This little Bible would make a truly wonderful baby gift. It comes in a box ready to wrap and present to the new little one. I highly recommend The Great and Small Bible . I received this Bible from the publisher.
