How to Age Without Getting Old by Joyce Meyer

Have you reached a place where you are feeling a bit anxious about getting older? How to Age Without Getting Old by Joyce Meyer offers some solid advice and encouragement about getting older to make the most of every age.

Throughout How to age Without Getting Old, Meyer shares her stories, as well as a few stories from other people, about how she handling aging. She doesn't shy away from sharing ways she wished she had handled things better and she honestly shares things she has done that have helped her grow older with grace. She talks about how important faith is as we grow older. She also talks about taking care of the bodies as best we can through the years by exercising, socializing, managing stress, eating healthfully, taking time to rest, and managing our mental outlook.

I enjoyed How to Age Without Getting Old. I found Meyer to be uplifting and down-to-earth as always. I like how she shares things that are both practical and spiritual. I also think she is at a good place in life to offer this wisdom to others as she is 78 years old and still living a full life--for her age. I think that this is an especially helpful book for women as she shares ways her body has reacted to stress and how hormonal changes affected her. I also like how she shares how things will change as we get older but she offers advice on how she has tried to handle them better as time goes on and passes that along to the reader. She also reminds the reader that it is never to late to start making positive changes. If you are a Joyce Meyer fan who has read her books before you may realize that she has shared some of this personal information before but in this book she ties it all together with new stories to help the reader relate to aging gracefully.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions within this review are my own. #sponsoredbyfaithwords
