The ICB Prayer Bible from Tommy Nelson

Are you a Christian parent trying to teach your child(ren) how to pray? The Prayer Bible for Children is designed to help you give your children a heart for prayer and learning the Bible together.

The Prayer Bible for Children uses the ICB translation. This translation is created especially for children. This particular Bible has large easy-to-read text with 160 pages of special prayer articles highlighting beloved prayers throughout the Bible. It also includes 64 color pages of poem prayers, Scripture prayers, and a children's question and answer section with the questions kids most ask about prayer. Along with all of the prayer helps, this children's Bible has a How to Use the Bible section, an article index for easy reference of the articles, a dictionary and a concordance. The Prayer Bible for Children also includes a matching prayer journal as a bonus to record prayers and answers to prayers with your child.

I thought The Prayer Bible for Children was both nice looking and packed with good information to help children learn about prayer in the Bible. It is a beautiful book and the matching paperback prayer journal is nice to have along with it. It would be good to use the journal to help children see how God answers their prayers. The Bible's print is large and quite dark although the pages are fairly thin like many Bibles. It has a matching blue ribbon marker to hold your place. I think this Bible is great for families because it teaches children so much about prayer. There are so many good questions that children ask that are answered with Bible verses. There are also many good prayers already written out to give children the general idea how to pray. It is just a nice all-around prayer Bible package for children and I highly recommend it.

Along with this blue Prayer Bible for Children, there is also a pink version releasing at the same time, on January 2.  Both colors are available for pre-order now.

I received The Prayer Bible for Children from Tommy Nelson. I was not required to write a positive review in exchange for the book.
