Emotional Healing with Essential Oils by Leslie Moldenauer

There is a lot going on in the world today and all of us seem to have a full plate of things to do. It is easy to see why we can struggle with stress, anxiety and other mood imbalances. Emotional Healing with Essential Oils by Leslie Moldenauer is a great reference book for those wanting to use essential oils to help with those challenges.

Emotional Healing with Essential Oils is divided in to three parts: Emotional Healing, Essential Oils for Emotional Work, and Applications for Well-Being. This book explains how to use both the book and essential oils safely. It describes 50 essential oils that are recommended by the author for emotional well-being. Then it includes recipes for blends and remedies to help with specific issues such as aches and pains, insomnia, ptsd, hormonal challenges and many more. These aren't just blends of oils but recipes for bath bombs, shower melts, soaks, sprays and infusion methods.  There are also two nice charts in the back for emotions and essential oils.

This book is a small size of 5 by 8 inches which I really like as it is easy to carry along in my purse or tote bag. This description says Emotional Healing with Essential Oils is 250 pages but my paperback is 236 pages so not quite that big. It is about an inch thick. It is easy to read and I like that it is such a good reference manual in the small size. The author writes in such a way that she comes across as knowledgeable while giving me the information in an easy to read format. I know my copy will see a lot of use and will have a permanent place in my library. I would also give this as a gift in a gift basket with oils to my oil-loving friends or those with emotional struggles that I want to introduce to oils.

I received this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
