Shaken by Tim Tebow with A. J. Gregory

I admit that I am not a huge sports fan. I really didn't know a lot about Tim Tebow before reading Shaken. However, you don't have to be a football fan to read and enjoy this book.

If you aren't a huge football fan like me, Tebow is a former Heisman Trophy winner. He played college football for the Florida Gaters and then played pro football for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets.

Through Shaken, we see the highs and lows of a football career through Tim Tebow. Tebow shares how he felt when he was doing so well in the sport and how it felt to be criticized when he wasn't. Through it all, Tebow shares that the most important aspect of his life was living each day for God. Tebow shares how the unchanging God remains the same no matter what ups and downs are in your life.

Tebow also shares stories from growing up in his family and how God helped mold him into the man he is today. He shares how he has continued to have faith in God in spite of some challenges he has faced. Tebow also shares many stories of working with kids that have cancer and other health challenges. He shares how these kids have faced those challenges and weathered health storms with grace. As the back of the book says,"Though traveling hard roads is not easy it's always worth it."

I would recommend Shaken to anyone who is a Tebow fan, of course. I would also recommend it to anyone facing challenges that needs some encouragement to get through the tough spots in life with faith in God.

I received Shaken from the publisher, Waterbrook. I was not required to write a positive review in exchange for the book.
